Natina Tiawanna Reed (October 28, 1979 – October 27, 2012) R.I.P.

 

【明報專訊】美國女子組合Blaque成員Natina Reed上周五晚橫過喬治亞州一條近郊公路時，不幸遇上嚴重車禍，被駛過汽車撞倒後證實不治，終年32歲。

她的兩名隊友驚聞死訊後，前日發表聲明以示悼念：「我們的世界從此變得不同了。」據當地警方初步調查，相信意外跟肇事司機無關，事件中無人被捕，不排除有人亂過馬路導致車禍。
Blaque早於1990年代出道，處女專輯甫推出即錄得白金銷量，單曲如Bring It All To Me及808亦紅遍美國，可惜無以為繼，Natina轉型拍戲，曾跟姬絲汀鄧絲（Kirsten Dunst）合演《啦啦小野貓》，直至最近Blaque計劃重組出碟，Natina卻在33歲生日前夕逝世。

Reed died on October 27, 2012, one day shy of her 33rd birthday, in a car accident as she was walking on a state highway in Atlanta, Georgia.

At the time of her death, Reed had been working on a solo rap album, as well as a new movie and reunion with fellow members of Blaque.

The accident happened at about 10:30 p.m. near Lawrenceville, Georgia on U.S. Highway 29 near Hamilton Road. No charges are expected, said Gwinnett police. Police and firefighters arrived to find a bystander performing CPR on Reed at the scene. She was pronounced dead a short time later at Gwinnett Medical Center. A preliminary investigation indicates that Reed was in the roadway when she was struck. Only the vehicle's driver and a passenger witnessed the impact. The driver of the vehicle was determined to be not at fault, and there are no charges pending.

 

這蠻扯的....竟然有人會走在美國的highway上。我對他的印象其實也是來自Kurupt的it's over (收錄在space boogie專輯)，不管怎樣還是願她安息，可惜了。

PS. 她和Kurupt在2002年生下了Tren Brown，不過之後他們還是沒有結婚
